A manufacturer specializing in ballistic-resistant optical products for defense and safety applications. They are seeking a Coating Technician to join their team.
Your day-to-day as a Coating Technician:
- Monitor and operate the lens coating line using both visual checks and computer systems
- Conduct basic testing and inspection of lenses and coating fluids to ensure quality standards
- Document and report equipment, maintenance, and material issues to supervisors and engineering staff
- Perform routine safety checks, change chemicals, and maintain housekeeping on the coating line
Your skills and experience:
- Ability to utilize laboratory and coating technology equipment for quality assurance
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills in a team environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel
- Attention to detail and ability to accurately record data and identify trends
