A manufacturer and service provider specializing in rail equipment production, maintenance, and component reconditioning. They are seeking a Industrial Painter to join their team.

Your day-to-day as a Industrial Painter:

• Read and interpret blueprints, BOMs, and specifications to accurately paint rail parts and equipment
• Prepare surfaces using sandblasting, hand sanding tools, and other methods before painting
• Apply industrial primer, paint, and corrosion-resistant coatings using spray systems
• Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and other lifting devices to handle materials and equipment
• Perform final inspection, touchup, and cleaning of finished railcar movers prior to shipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area by following daily 5S practices and safety protocols

Your skills and experience:

• 3-5 years of experience in a custom or production paint shop environment
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, 3D prints, and technical schematics
• Proficient in using hand tools, measuring devices, and computer systems for data entry
• Strong mechanical aptitude and critical thinking skills for troubleshooting
• Effective communication and accountability within a team environment
• Commitment to quality standards, safety requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives
