A manufacturer producing precision components for the medical, aerospace, automotive, and defense industries. They are seeking a Machinist to join their team.
Your day-to-day as a Machinist:
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot manual and CNC grinding equipment
- Utilize measuring tools to inspect products and ensure precise tolerances
- Perform plate and final straightening processes as required
- Monitor part conformance and adjust machinery based on blueprints or work orders
- Maintain production levels and quality standards according to company guidelines
- Input daily production data using internal computer systems
Your skills and experience:
- Basic understanding of CNC programming and ability to modify existing programs
- Experience with manual grinders, disk grinders, and centerless grinders
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions
- Proficiency in using measuring equipment for quality inspection
- Good attendance record and reliability in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to adapt to new processes and work collaboratively with a team
