Industrial Engineer

In-Person, $90-$110K/Year, 1st Shift, Full-Time, On-Call and OT as Required, Excellent Benefits

Our client, a leading manufacturer specializing in innovative packaging solutions, is seeking an Industrial Engineer to join their growing team!

Your day-to-day as a Industrial Engineer:

• Collaborate with company leadership and plant management to specify, develop, and upgrade production equipment
• Lead facility expansion projects involving building modifications, HVAC, compressed air, and cooling systems
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S principles
• Design and detail mechanical components for manufacturing equipment using AutoCAD or similar tools
• Oversee project timelines, budgets, and performance metrics while validating new equipment installations
• Work directly with vendors to obtain specifications, quotes, and manage procurement processes
• Deliver technical presentations to leadership and customers, keeping them informed on key projects
• Supervise subcontractors and coordinate with internal and external teams to achieve project goals

Your skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering required
• 1–2 years of experience in the plastics manufacturing industry preferred
• Strong mechanical design background; AutoCAD 3D experience preferred
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Proven project management and problem-solving abilities
• Willingness to travel and occasionally work flexible hours for major projects or system issues
• PLC programming knowledge a plus
