Full job description
In-Person, Salary: $90,000, Day Shift, Full-Time, Excellent Benefits
Our client is a successful manufacturing company providing essential products and services internationally and they are seeking a Assistant Warehouse Manager to join their team.
Your day-to-day as a Assistant Warehouse Manager:
- Assist the Operations Manager in overseeing daily departmental operations and managing staff and resources
- Lead and cover for supervisors or the Operations Manager during absences to maintain productivity
- Collaborate on developing and implementing operational strategies, policies, and procedures
- Monitor operational performance metrics and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and quality
- Oversee inventory management processes, including stock monitoring and regular audits
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and health and safety standards
Your skills and experience:
- 8+ years of supervisory experience in a warehouse environment
- Forklift license and ability to lift up to 25kg following safety regulations
- Experience with WMS systems and RF scanning technology
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Knowledge of cGMP, OSHA regulations, and quality management systems is an asset
