Our client is a successful manufacturing company providing essential products and services internationally and they are seeking a Assistant Warehouse Manager to join their team.

Your day-to-day as a Assistant Warehouse Manager:

• Assist the Operations Manager in overseeing daily departmental operations and managing staff and resources
• Lead and cover for supervisors or the Operations Manager during absences to maintain productivity
• Collaborate on developing and implementing operational strategies, policies, and procedures
• Monitor operational performance metrics and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and quality
• Oversee inventory management processes, including stock monitoring and regular audits
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and health and safety standards

Your skills and experience:

• 8+ years of supervisory experience in a warehouse environment
• Forklift license and ability to lift up to 25kg following safety regulations
• Experience with WMS systems and RF scanning technology
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Knowledge of cGMP, OSHA regulations, and quality management systems is an asset
