Full job description
Job Location: In-Person, Salary: $80,000, Second Shift, Full-Time, Excellent Benefits, Enjoy competitive pay
A manufacturer specializing in stainless steel piping and ventilation solutions for industrial facilities. They are seeking a Fabrication Supervisor to join their team.
Your day-to-day as a Fabrication Supervisor:
- Supervise and lead a team of fabrication and welding employees to meet production goals
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and manage disciplinary actions as needed
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and company policies throughout the department
- Facilitate communication between production teams to ensure schedule alignment and customer satisfaction
- Approve timecards, track attendance, and manage vacation requests for direct reports
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and product quality
Your skills and experience:
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of steel fabrication, welding, or coating processes
- Formal training in Lean manufacturing methods and continuous flow
- Strong team-building, communication, and problem-solving abilities
